Northern Lights from Washington Pass

I had seen the Northern Lights before a couple of times, but they were rather faint. Twice I had prepped to photograph what was suppose to be a major event, but both times nothing. A couple years ago Judy and I even went to Winthrop to watch, but saw nothing. Friday evening, I had the idea to head to Washington pass, about 3 hours away and try again. The lights this time were suppose to be more vibrant from Washington then they ever have been for years. So Judy and I packed up and headed for the pass and boy, what a show!
